New Gmails no longer in bold UI 7

Since the latest update to UI 7.

New unread Gmails are no longer in bold.

I have tried changing the Fonts and downloaded new fonts from samsung.

. This does not fix default.

Same issue. Opted to download other apps to read my emails for now. Why do they always mess up what works well and functional.

The problem is the the bold isn't bold enough (and certainly not as bold as it was). It is working (the read email is not bold), but the new UI 7 is making the bold less bold and harder to detect.

+1 on this issue. After the update the bold vs non-bold in Gmail is very hard to distinguish. Settings|Display|Font size and style options don't seem to have an effect.

It's disappointing that mainline app like Gmail is so negatively affected by an update.

Same issue with my A55.  The new gmail font is hurting my eyes as well.  This is my first Samsung after several pixels and likely my last unless they make some changes.

I am absolutely hating UI7.  The new battery icon is also terrible.

Same issue- have just updated and first time opening my Gmail, I have to clearly look at every single email to see whether its bold or not, rather than being able to scan and spot the unread ones. Really annoying change massively effecting efficiency in emails.
