Whats the point of having the navstar module when there’s no way of making the nav buttons have adaptive coloring. This makes nav buttons literally invisible in certain scenarios. Say: if you have a white wallpaper, your nav buttons should be dark for visibility but if you open play store in dark mode your buttons will almost disappear.

Buttons clearly visible here.

Same buttons literally disappear in play store.

This needs fixing ASAP.

I take it you don't get on with gestures?

I do actually use gestures and have been for years. It's just that I think they aren't really well optimised. In certain apps, the padding between the gesture bar and the bottom app buttons is so small, it looks and works ugly. If you disable the gesture bar, then the bottom app buttons literally touch the bottom bezel of the phone without any padding. I switched to buttons purely because they seem well done.

I couldnt go back to buttons myself. Gestures with the gesture bar hidden for me.

Fair enough. Works well most of the time, except in a few apps like Google Search App or YouTube where the bottom app buttons are literally touching my bottom bezel. And I think this also depends on the phone aspect ratio. My wife's Flip 7 doesn't have these padding issues even with gestures on and gesture bar hidden.

Let's hope they fix the bug issues soon. Looks to be many that are frustrated with it to.
