SOLVED!
Mine was doing it in the case but stopped when I took it out the case.
Turns out NFC was on and was picking up a signal from the cards in my case.
Turned NFC off, no more vibrating when opening now!

Just did the update. My phone is doing the same thing all day.  I have a phone case with credit cards. Turned off the NFC and the vibration stopped.

So frustrating.

I also removed my case and it solved the issue, I thought it was a joke when I read that first but no it really worked out... I had my bus ticket inside my case though so it might be something related to NFC maybe?

I'm experiencing this issue on my S24+ as of a couple days ago. The GPS icon will soemtiekd flash when it briefly vibrates too. Very annoying.

Same issue. No cards in any case though. It vibrates without reason. extremely  Annoying, new S24+ultra.

Not sure if you already managed to solve this issue but I happen to have the exact same problem. When I check it seems that the phone did it every time it reached max brightness (I'm using adaptive brightness).

If you're using adaptive brightness too that could be it.

Yeah, same with my s24 ultra. Every time I start using the phone at some point it will do the quick vibrate and a sound, but nothing on screen,no missed calls or messages. Been through all settings

It is the RFID scanner on your phone like Google wallet. I had cards in my case.  It was trying to scam them constantly. Turn that off and it will go away. Problem solved.

The fix is here in link.  It's your RFID scanner. Turn off your NFC.
