Multi-User Functionality Missing in One UI 6.0 on Galaxy S24

Important issue with the recent One UI 6.0 update on the Galaxy S24. It appears that the Multi-User functionality, which many of us have found incredibly useful, is no longer available.

This feature was great for families sharing one device, workplaces with shared phones, and even for individuals wanting to separate personal and professional profiles. Its absence is definitely felt, and I'm curious why it was removed.

Does anyone know the reason behind this change? More importantly, is there any chance Samsung might bring back Multi-User functionality in a future update? It would be great to hear from others who miss this feature and to gather some momentum to show Samsung how valuable it is to us.

Looking forward to your thoughts and any insights you might have!

It was removed due to security. However it is still available on my TabS9U.

Please feed this back to Samsung via the members app. Support tab. Feedback.

I currently use Secure Folder and the Work profile (which is not enabled by default). I really hope Samsung will bring back this feature.

I think that removing this feature is absolue opposit of "It was removed due to security."  Need to use the phone in development and would like to have a separate user for that reason.

I really regret buying the Samsung S24 Ultra because of this. I was shocked to see that they have disabled multiple user functionality, which even my grandma's phone has. In my previous device, I easily separated my personal, work, and kids' profiles. This feature was so important to me that, had I known this earlier, I would never have purchased the S24 Ultra. I now have to carry two devices.😤😤

Dear Samsung, please do something about this.

Hmm well thank god i was searching for this info. Because right now i was thinking about switching to samsung and buying S25 ultra when its come out and thought about this second space features which i use a lot.  So searched if S24 ultra got it or not? But after reading soo many comments regarding samasung removed it from thr phone. So now i won't be switching to samsung at all. Because without second space function S24 ultra or S25 ultra Have no use for me.  I think many years ago Nokia made a big mistake and now samsung making it. Although samsung is making different kind of mistakes but it does effect people like me. 1st they removed external memory card option just to save 1 slot on thr motherboard now they have gone and removed second space (multi user) features from the Top flagship phones.  So whats they point of me spending that much on samsung phone while i cant get features which i use most.

Its samsungs big mistake.  1st they removed external memory card option and now they removed second space (multi user) option from thr S series phone.  Now whats the point of having that much processing speed and ram while u cant use it for multiple users.. For me second space option is alot more useful and valuable then having 200x optical zoom. Which is totally unnecessary.

I'm here to complain too. It's absurd that a top brand smarphone can't have stock android features.

At least you should advertise it properly, something like "Samsung don't like android stock features and we might remove one or more in the future".
It was working on a samsung tablet, that's why I considered a s24 ultra. Now I really regret this - I want a personal and work profile completely separate, not in a "secure" folder. I'll most probably resell it and go for a stock android phone, not samsung.

Was this feature removed to don't fire developpers in the "Kids" and "Secure Folder" application team?

Samsung should keep the multi-user on the S24 Ultra for several reasons, the main one being the security of its users... specially countries like Brazil, with the advent of the digitalization of currencies and financial transactions, it is increasingly common for armed thieves to steal your cell phone, ask for the password to unlock the phone and then they transfer all your money from the bank, cryptocurrencies, investments, etc... creating a multi-user would guarantee that another layer of protection would be added, leaving the financial apps and more sensitive apps in another user separate from the phone, leaving only 1 "fintech app" on the main user and making the topup of low value so that in case of armed robbery, the thief will only steal low value from "main user"

Because of this stupid decision to remove multi-user, in Brazil many Samsung owners are forced to buy another phone and install their banking apps, leaving them at home. This is not convenient at all... c'mon samsung!! you can do this better
