Lock screen won't aper (s24 ultra)

Hello, I received my S24 ultra three days ago. While going to sleep, I wanted to check the time and realized that the lock screen wouldn't appear. It goes straight to the home screen. I don't know what happened. I'm looking for answers, but I can't find the solution.

Hey there hazel. I recently had it and got scared as my phone was technically unlocked. So what you have to do is go to Settings>lockscreen and AOD>secure lock settings>lock instantly with side button. And thats it. It's was likely due to extend unlock feature on the phone. If it does not work then resetting might be your last hope. But it worked for me.
