Hi everyone, does anyone know when we're likely to get the next software update in the UK? - I would have hoped to have received it by now.

According to sammobile.com it should be in the next few days.

However we won't know officially until it does start hitting applicable devices @woodlouse

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

It was released in Korea. I guess it should be released in Europe soon.

It's only a boring security update. Not a software update. Nothing to write home about 🙄

According to the official details, the June 2024 patch enhances features such as image display on the screen, battery usage tracking, secure phone calls, and the functionality of the Samsung Dialer application.

It is out now, but wait until we see the fallout, if it makes things better or worse..

Most of the patches in the June 2024 update were released in 2023...the only one that was new was the first patch, so I suspect that is the one that should address thr battery drain issue... I hope...

You can follow the link of the details of the update they send....

It's a complex system, so expect issues, especially if you have older Android versions...

But biggest issue for me was battery drain when WiFi, location services and certain social media apps were on....like you tube, Facebook etc, some I deleted and others stopped using and turned off wifi and location services when not in use... Otherwise the bettery drain was over 15% per hour... And the battery app percentages showed a fraction of that, so something was up

Good luck, and I hope it works out well. I will update but will wait to see what people experience
