Hi guys anyone else having issues with their s24+ after the recent security update?

- Phone completely froze, unresponsive screen, had to restart phone

- Tiktok was continuously playing even though cleared app history, eventually had to 'force stop' app to stop as it kept playing the same video sound!

Quallcomm is set to push the boundaries for performance with it's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Beating Apples Upcoming A19 Pro in nearly every aspect.

Snapdragon 8 Elite set the bar for what performance can do tho.

Yes you are spot on here man! Like I had no issues with insta, Snapchat, spotify, tiktok, everything worked smoothly.

I regret selling my 12 pro max as it was still in good working order apart from this mail app glitch which was bearable.

Samsung has its pros i.e no monthly cloud storage etc but with apple I feel like their operating systems are a different kettle of fish!

They are tbf running out of ideas, like from 15 to 16 not much difference

Yeah, they only say from 15 to 16 there is only a 20 to 25% performance difference.

But s24 to s25 is a 35 to 40% difference.

I get 100fps+ for everything.

Nonetheless, both brands are amazing, apple wins for security and reliability and performance.
Samsung's wins at display, performance and features.

Do we mean you cleared the Tiktok cache or cleared the cache partition.  Anyway advisable to clear the cache partition after updates as some temporary  cache files can become outmoded/corrupt.  It can help with freezes/lags.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Mobile  Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Should have made things more clear, I did indeed go onto settings, apps, tiktok and cleared app cache.

Will try the above steps and hopefully it sorts all the bugs/issues out.

Will update on here if it persists.

This new update is starting to make me so so frustrated! Just now after clearing partition cache, after couple hrs my phone just froze trying to clear apps.

What have samsung done with this new update?

These issues are getting worse day by day? Further more I am regretting getting this phone and should have just stuck to apple man.

Anyone have any idea when the next update is???😑🫠

Anyone else having issues with calls? How come when I call a helpline it puts call on 'hold' automatically without my control and then says call 'retrieved'?

Is there currently a glitch or is the issue with my network? Network is completely fine with succifient bars
