Last month I travelled to the Philippines and used a Philippines sim card, my phone went and locked itself, it is unlocked to europe open according to the csc EUX

All I got was a message on screen saying it was locked because was lost or stolen.

Not really helpful!!

Anyway, back in the UK and the shop i bought it from in may changed it for a working phone that also has csc EUX

Is there anything I can do so I do not have the same problem when travelling again in November?

Thanks

Check with your phone network provider as most allow you to travel abroad but it's aways advisable to check to what restrictions the country you intend going too

That's the really odd thing, I am on a sim only contract with a fully paid for unlocked phone, it seems to be knox or samsung that locked the phone last time, was nothing to do with my network provider

I don't think it's you, I think it's the retailer. If it happens again, consider a refund and buying from another source I'd say.
