Try these troubleshooting steps @jrkrish
- Check the apps software is updated to the latest version.
- Soft reboot your phone by turning the phone Off and On.
- Long press on the app and tap on the i and choose storage then tap on Cache.
A more broad sworded step is to clear the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section.

This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
Look on the Playstore for the app and look at the reviews or Google Search to see if anyone else is having similar issues.
