I got One UI 7 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and I hate every single change. It is such a big drawback for me, that it's almost a showstopper. I used Galaxy S phone since the S III and I have never been so disappointed.
Is there a way to remove this mess and go back to the previous UI?

The phone keeps trying to take over my cars infotainment system. When I pick my son up from work I will sit in the parking lot waiting. I used to listen to my radio and play a game on my phone. Now the phone forces it's way into taking over audio even when I have manually gone back. So now it's either keep clicking back or unpairing the Bluetooth and not have hands-free calling

Swipe down, then swipe right for notifications! Can't tell if your mobile network is sending and receiving! The search bar is st the bottom in the app drawer!

Bless you! This has been driving me crazy since I updated 2 days ago!

It's dogwater. Everything is ugly and far less intuitive than the previous version. There are zero upgrades and a multitude of downgrades.

So far the only thing that I really don't like with One UI 7 is that you cannot choose alphabetized in the Custom Order when enabling the side to side swipe for the app drawer. Other than that, my S24 has great battery life on it. If I know that I am not going to be near a charger for a while, I just enabled the power saving which gives me almost 2 days on one charge, and if I go maximum with limiting the apps on the home screen I can get almost 5 days out of it. I have also joined the notification panel and the quick panel back together to give it that old feeling again.
It really is a matter of perspective on how things work. I have been doing lots of research into the new changes that they made. I do recommend getting Good Lock installed for better customization to the UI. Also, spend a little time learning the new changes. Who knows what the next version will bring and they might introduce a feature that you really like.

Yes you can, I also hate it. They copied the UI from Apple and it makes me want to throw this thing off a cliff. I don't get the text message notifications anymore.

Recent apps are now 3D. Battery indication changed. Need to maake sure there's no AI active somewhere in the background. RAM widget is no longer transparent. Time on top seems to be in bold font now. Why, why do they change the UI at all???

I saw something saying it was to remove visual clutter which is difficult to believe when you see the obnoxious iphone battery pill. You can edit some panel settings for the drop down menu but you can't remove parts you may not use like the Smart View/Modes or the Nearby devices/SmartThings bars.
I'd say it was form over function but it feels like a step backwards in both regards. Alarms are my newest annoyance. There used to be an icon in the top right and you could instantly see if you had set an alarm. Now you either need to go into your clock app to check or add a widget. Goodlock doesn't remedy this one.
