I got my S24 a month ago and I'm struggling with the sudden added darkness with the back camera. The front camera is alright but the back camera just has this added dark light added to it and it is annoying. When ever I take pictures with the back camera, it adds more dark light to my face and it is just not it at all. Asides that, the S24 is a wonderful phone.

Is there a way I can change the settings? Do you have the same problems? Does the phone come like that?
Please share your thoughts thanks x.

Hi there 👋 and welcome

Hard to tell without example, but, Is there any chance that Intelligent optimisation in your camera settings set to maximum and you're using 200 mp ? If so try go to camera settings, intelligent optimisation set to lowest and turn off scene optimisation.

Hi Shar365,

I have S24U, so guess the settings on the camera are similar, I am using filters or edit the picture after I have taken it if I don't like it. I hope this helps.

Yes I understand that, maybe you can take picture of a doll or something, but you don't really have to post a picture, we can work it out from settings, unless it's really odd, than you can go further and make a complaint to Samsung themselves.
