Is there an alternate application or option to turn off post processing completely on the stock camera app?
I really dislike that images after a second or two in the gallery "upscale" and change. (usually negatively impacting the image by making detail streaky and chsnging the colour balance) In my opinion the sample prior to this upscaling taking place is generally far better and more natural.
I have super HDR off in the gallery application and have image optimisation at minimum but can't seem to find a way to completely disable the post processing on photos I take.
It seems far worse at 50mp and 200mp, where I would expect far more detail when zooming in on an image but instead it's "optimised" erasing all detail. Expert RAW and Pro camera still have this post processing also.

I agree that the results of the post processing are good in general. But many times you do want the result to be more like what you are really seeing with your eyes, even if it appears dusty, "lifeless", dull, faded. I prefer to have the option to later edit the image and decide how much I want to alter various settings (brightness, color, etc.) than let the post processing give me a result that cannot be reverted.
I wish there was a simple option to turn post processing off globally, and then later in the gallery we could decide to turn it on for selected images.

My S24 ultra just stuffed up a one off group shot of about 12 people standing in a semi circle. Two people left and right in focus, everybody else blurred. Again the infuriating thing is the photo as I took it looked good and I watched at it smudged it and I can't get the original back I think. Infuriating!

I have the normal s24 and experience the same. What i did to "fix" it was disable all permissions for samsung gallery, then I installed aves gallery and open camera and turned off "noise reduction algorithm". The pictures are more noisy but more detailed.
