Hello folks fairly new to the ultra world. I have an s24 ultra just wondered if anyone had any settings tips to get the best out of the camera. I'm a proper novice but don't want to waste any of the features

Any tips would be cool

Many thanks

I have taken a lot of great photos using the S24 Ultra ,well I think they great anyway

Take your time, get the composition right and don't worry if others don't like them as long as you do,keep going

Learn how to use pro mode too

Hi @Pe10304

You can definitely try pro and pro raw modes but you can achieve great results even without it.

Main thing is take as many pictures as you can, practice always makes perfect, it about how you see the picture in the end, your idea of how to capture it.

Like @-Robot- said there's composition and other things involved but it's not always necessary needs to be technical , as art is subjective thing.

If you point and shot i would get camera assistant from Samsung store, reduce intelegent optimisation in camera settings to lowest one and use 50 MP

@Pe10304: The Camera app on One UI7 / Android 15 offers some additional customisation features which can really help you to capture a scene to your liking. If you tap the Quick controls button below the viewfinder, then you can utilise Centre-weighted metering and spot metering (circle symbol with brackets), as well as Matrix metering to determine how the light values are calculated in the shot.

I'd also recommend having a play around with the filters (3 overlapping circles), and applying some effects to the photos to further bring them to life. There's even an option to create your own custom filters using photos from your gallery.

Once you're comfortable adjusting the various settings to your preference, I'm confident that you'll be taking photos like a pro in no time :smiling-face:
