Gap at top of screen?

Is it normal for there to be a very thin gap where the glass meets the frame at the top of the screen above the front camera? It's not all the way across but can see a very small gap in the middle. It's hardly noticeable until you are in bright sunlight then you see it clearer. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or I've got a dodgy build!

Edited to add a very awful photo of what I'm talking about!

Play some music through your speakers and put your ear close to that area. I think your referring to where the top speaker is @Trixy83

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Ah will try that! Sorry coming from the s21 which doesn't have anything like that and wasn't sure if it was normal or a dodgy fitted screen 🙈 thank you!

Hi @Trixy83

The Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra has a speaker there and a bottom firing speaker next to the charging port.

I have the same issue. S24 ultra. Every reply is incorrect. There is a speaker and a mic on the top of the frame. The two little holes. On the bottom I believe it's a speaker or speaker/mic combo since I hear music coming from the bottom and top holes.

Now for the gap on the top of the screen. I have no clue but I don't think it's the speaker at all because if you put a screen protector or tempered glass on the top of it then it would muffle the sound. Also no sound coming from the crack. So I'm in the dark as far as the crack goes. I can say it appears to be on everyone's phone of these models. Just don't know why

Your wrong. The thin gap at the top of the screen above the front camera is indeed for the ear piece speaker. All screen protectors have the exact same dip.

Now the issue is the bottom corners as I'm showing now. This isn't normal and samsung aren't even saying anything about it 20240203_192927_1000000259_1706988694.jpg20240203_192733_1000000258_1706988693.jpg

I have noticed the gap at the bottom of the screen on my s24 too. Wouldn't this affect the waterproofing?
