Face recognition set up and recognition can't detect my face in slightly lower lighting condition but my face is properly visible on the camera when I test it. It has never happened before on previous Samsung phones.
I've rescanned my face multiple times and in less than ideal brightest day it says that the camera lens may be dirty, it's clean.

Thank you @hovdingen
I agree with your sentiment. I have the S22 Ultra at the moment and it seems to read my face fairly quickly on low light, but I am not bother about it. It is convenient, but less secure so if it does not work, I will not lose any sleep over it.
Apple seems to have implemented it better. Saying that, the Galaxy S2, for those with good memory, had face recognition and it worked OK at the time. I am sure that it had improved considerably since then.
The S24 series is barely out. Given that it is a premium phone series, it should not have any or very few issues, but it is expected to have some bugs. I imagine that most of these software issues will be solved in future firmware upgrades.

What do you mean similar? It's this thread.

Hope so because it just doesn't recognize my face!

I bought a new S24 Ultra for my girlfriend, and the phone is impressive in most ways, but she has the same problem with facial recognition. She has tried in daylight, with different lamps inside, but no matter how she lets the phone read her face, it will not open when using facial. It will only open when using fingerprints. And the funny thing, it is not 100% when it comes to fingerprints as well. Apart from this, the phone is great and the new AI functions are really good.

You have linked this thread to itself. I think you meant to link it another thread. Or it was moved from the other thread.
