I can't get the Edge Lighting feature to work on my S24 Ultra. I've formatted all the notifications settings correctly. I've made sure that the 'reduce animations' setting is switched off. The notification pop up style is set to 'brief' and 'pop ups allowed'. The edge lighting feature is definitely on. I have the lastest software update installed. The theme for my phone is standard and I mostly use Samsung apps as my default, so most of my notifications come from Samsung. Despite this, the edge lighting feature still isn't working. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Could someone please help? Thank you.

Hello! Please check if you have any other apps overriding the edge lighting like 'Good lock' or something similar and disable them. If this is not the case then my other suggestion would be to check your settings in the edge lighting style and check in the advanced tab to see if the transparency has been turned to the max as this will cause the effect to not show. Also make sure "Show while screen is off" is toggled on. Hope this helps :).

Selected apps to show as brief? Enabled Show even while screen is off? When you click on Edge lightning style does show sample look?

Hi. Thank you for replying. I've enabled show even while screen is off. The edge lighting style does show when im sampling the different styles whilst setting up the feature. But that is the only time it shows.

Hey. The only thing that comes to my mind is to check if "Power saving" mode is switched on and unchecking "Reduce animations" maybe they are interfering with this.

Hi,

Go into Edge lighting style and tap on the advanced tab. Put the transparency slider to low and the duration slider to long and see if that makes a difference 1722264285764_1722264285756_0.jpg

I have the same problem. I've tried everything but when the screen is closed the edge lighting doesn't work.
