Disappearing photos

Anyone help me. I have the new s24 and overnight my pictures in my gallery have disappeared and heartbroken as pics of my best friend who passed away have vanished

Yes. To be fair, I much prefer to use Google photos over Samsung gallery.

me too, Google Photos is a very safe and reliable cloud
