Disappearing photos

Anyone help me. I have the new s24 and overnight my pictures in my gallery have disappeared and heartbroken as pics of my best friend who passed away have vanished

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

Check the recycle bin in the gallery. Check the recycle bin in Samsung Files. Check the recycle bin in Microsoft OneDrive, as you may have been syncing to that. Also, check Google Photos as it may still be syncing.

Hi @NurseEm  Hopefully you are able to locate the photos via the methods mentioned.  I would recommend  having a few Backs up whether that be by cloud services  or via local  storage.  I do sync with One Drive and there are also a  number of other options  available. https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/buying-guides/best-cloud-storage-for-photos

Hope you find them. OneDrive has a 30-day limit before the bin is wiped permanently, so don't delay. Don't suppose you used any other cloud services? Ie Google Drive, Dropbox etc

Hey, I'm no Bill Gates either, but I'm happy to help any way I can. Can you remember if you changed any settings or did any actions in the gallery prior to the photos disappearing

Few days prior I created albums in my gallery for certain pics. Nothing on one drive just checked 😪

Open Samsung file manager and tap on 'Images'. Are they there in the folders you created?
