@89chins: When setting the timer, the days of the week can be assigned via the initials above the timer itself, with a blue circle indicating that the day has been selected. In your case, make sure that M, T, W, T and F are circled, assign the relevant minutes/hours of usage, then hit 'Done'.
As long as you access the app e.g. Instagram within the time period described in your post, then this should work in the same way as the ability to assign the specific time period, if that makes sense.

@89chins: Apologies, I must admit that I misunderstood your initial post, but you're right in that a time period cannot currently be assigned in the way you're describing. I will pass this to our Research and Development Team, and let you know their thoughts once I hear back from them.

@89chins can see the merits of more flexibility, depends if Research and Development perceive it to be worthwhile. personally I do not need to set limits on social Media but understand the needs of others.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

@89chins: Hi there. The Research and Development Team have got back to me, and advised that they will consider implementing this feature if more users request it. At this time, however, there are no plans to introduce a time period option to the 'App timers' settings.
