Hi

I have a 125w charger from Motorola - will this be able to deliver 45w super fast charging 2.0 or should I be looking at the original 45w (or 65w) Samsung charger?

On another note, will a 60w Samsung charger (for Galaxy Book 3) be able to reach 45w when charging a S24 and will the 125w Motorola on the other hand deliver max to the book 3?

Thanks!

Any charger able to deliver 45W or more and supports super fast charging, PD will work.

I have a 100W 3rd party charger with 4 USB ports and I can charge 2 x S22 Ultra, Watch and buds without any problem.

If you have a charger with lesser wattage, it will take a bit longer for the phone to charge, but it will work all the same.

@Larskw

From https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-super-fast-charging-on-galaxy-s24-ultra...

The S24 supports fast, super fast, and wireless charging.

To use fast charging, you must have a charging cable that supports adaptive fast charging with a capacity of 25W.

For super-fast charging, you must have a charging cable that supports adaptive fast charging with a capacity of 45W - 45W TA + 5A cable (E-marked).

Please Note: Standard S24 cables only support 25W charging.

You will also need a 45W Travel Adapter. Super-fast charging will not function with a standard charger. We recommend using the USB Type-C, 5A charging cable that comes with the 45W charger. "

You can try PD chargers that specify samsung super fast charging 2.0. Normal chargers will not support the super fast charging 2.0

Apparently not true. PD charger for few minutes is charging at high speed (Samsung laptop book) and than slows down to 10W . Laptop warns me to use Samsung approved charger.

This is a thread for the S24 series, no laptops.

The phone will do super fast charge with a reputable charger with support for 45 W or more and PD 2.0.
