Had the same problem, came here looking for suggestions. Used the plastic pin from victorinox multi tool mini knifes. It is the perfect size, did the job perfectly. Couldn't believe how much stuff could deposit in there. When looking with a flashlight with the right angle, you are supposed to see shiny, metal-like reflection around the port, inside the port. Before cleaning it it was completely opaque inside the port.
