Camera "refining picture"

Anyone else have the new OneUI7 bug where if you take a photo, it shows "refining picture" in a notification then never finishes? I've reset the camera and the gallery app, no settings make any difference. Images dont appear in the file mananger and cant be shared with other apps. Details dont appear in Gallery either.

The camera at this point is unusable.

Under intelligent optimization
I have set this to minimum. You can try this and see if it helps.

But when i last had a camera problem, i went into settings
Scroll to apps
Find the camera app
Then go down to storage and clear the cashe and data
See if that helps

I've stated i reset the apps. I stated no settings changed make any difference.

Then you'll either have to wait for the next update or reach out to Samsung Customer Services

@Glenntech is a bit of a Samsung Camera whiz who knows his stuff so it that hasn't helped.....

If its like the gallery bugs that dont get fixed the phone can go in the bin

Did you ever find a solution? My phone started doing this too since the last update and it's driving me crazy, i've tried reseting the camera app, deleting data and cache and it's not working

Same problem for me since updating to One UI 7.0. Very disappointing and highly annoying. Sent a report to Samsung, hopefully gets fixed. Going to setting, apps, camera, force stop works to remove the refining picture notification, but can't see the picture, i.e. it never finishes "refining" meaning night shots are now not possible. Also means any shots taken after e.g. with flash on don't "finish" either (i.e. they are waiting for the first one to finish refining). TERRIBLE bug, Samsung.

I fixed my problem by going to settings, clicked Galaxy AI and turned off Photo assist. Then cleared camera and gallery cache. 🙏
