Call assist, need a update setting allowing translation from English - English not just English to Other languages.

Am hard of hearing myself and sure there other people could do with benefit of support this application to supply.

It difficult understand other accent, even i using Bluetooth hearing aid, still struggle with understanding. This would benefit for me at least have support languages with both English to English.

Since UK Relay service completely unreliable for me these days since BT took over hardly any of deaf awareness in there system.

I bloody join samsung from Apple cause I saw this benefit support I needed. Only come situation where only English to other languages only won't allow English to English.

Hope Samsung team at look in to this. I would be grateful this to happen

Try live caption instead of live translation. See if this works?

Navigate to Settings, tap Accessibility, and then tap Hearing enhancements.
2. Tap Live Caption, and then tap Use Live Caption to turn it on.

Live Caption automatically detects audio streams from your phone once it's on. You can use it on media such as videos, podcasts, phone calls, video calls, and audio messages. Live Caption will even caption your voicemails in real time when you use the *86 method for accessing your voicemails. A text box will appear on your screen and you can use your finger to move the box if it's blocking part of the screen you want to see. Drag the box to the bottom of your screen to dismiss it entirely.

*key word in that is "phone calls"

Haha yes, it helps if the person on call has voice isolation on. But obviously, that relies on the other user.

What I would do is go to the Samsung Members app > Support > Feedback.

Glad to be of help. Be sure to set it as resolved for others searching for a similar topic. The three dots are next to the solution.
