In modes and routines, the button action doesn't work when the phone is locked. It works perfectly when the phone is unlocked but it doesn't do anything when it is locked. Any ideas for fixing it?

I think its designed this way. Once the phone is locked, it limits accessibility of most functionalities to prevent any security or critical risks.

My goal is just to increase the brightness of the display before unlocking the device. Nothing dangerous. Any suggestions on how I can do this?
