Anyone else seeing this? Battery life seems good so far I just wondered why it doesn't stay on 100% for a bit.

I'm no expert but read that it can take up to 2 weeks to settle down as the phone is learning mode

I think on One UI 6.1 there are various battery settings under device care and one of them is to charge to 100% and then it stops and will start charging again after something like 95% if the charger is still plugged in.

@Linska

My advise is set the phone the way you want to use it. Do not enable any saving setting that you do not intend to keep.

The phone will go through a learning period (7-14 days) and after the learning period is over the battery behaves as it should.

My S22 Ultra was the same and after almost two years of use, I charge my phone on a three days cycle. If I charge my phone today, I will not charge it again until the day after tomorrow. Of course, if you are a gamer or a very heavy user you battery life will not be as generous.

Are you using an original Samsung Plug and cable @Reylob

@BandOfBrothers I am using the Samsung 45W charger and 3rd party 100W charger.

Are you asking for a particular reason?

I don't know much about it but my galaxy s23 ultra charges 85% and soon as I turn off the charger and remove the cable within few seconds charge drops to 84%

If you're using the basic protect battery mode, it may have stopped charging for a whole once you hit 100%.

For me, I haven't seen any stark drop off from 100%, it normally will take about 10 minutes of light use to see it go down.
