Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I am looking at few posts, it turns out to be affecting a lot if not all

The minority of people experiencing the issue will speak louder than those who haven't, the fact being that nobody is going to post about their battery staying the same so, it seems a lot worse being that some are experiencing it.

If it were "everyone," then the update would have been pulled. Samsung has millions of users. A dozen posts do not suggest it is a global update issue.

Turn Auto Blocker off then

Using the Samsung Phone App (not the Google one)

Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.

Now turn Auto Blocker back on if required.

I disagree with this - there are plenty more than a dozen posts, and they don't just post here.

The phrase "everyone" is colloquial - considering it's bringing a lot of people to post (like myself who has been android user since it's inception) is quite telling.

Great username to make the point lol—there is a lot of backlash on the UI 7 situation, and I acknowledge that. I'm on the side of the millions of users compared to the posts. Samsung paused the update when an issue occurred, and if something as significant as a battery issue occurred, I'm sure they would have done it again.

But all anyone can do is submit feedback directly to Samsung—as these forums are for the community to talk to each other. The best we can do is give suggestions and our own opinions, which are all equally valid.

It's normal for the battry to drain for a couple of weeks after the update. However, you can try the following to fix the issue:

I bought samsung s24 ultra just before a month. My phone was doing very well until I updated my phone to one UI 7. After updating the battery of my phone started draining like hell.  100% charge lasts upto 7 to 8 hours only. Kindly suggest some solution to fix this bug.
