Auto reset is nothing like a manual reset, is it? A manual reset resets the up time, an auto reset does not. Does auto research actually do anything apart from making you log in with your pass number? Cosmetic?

I set my phone to do an autoreset daily at 3 AM in an attempt to get around the regular failures I have with my camera app. Complete waste of time.

An auto restart is exactly the same as a normal restart. It sounds like your phone just isn't restarting. Make sure you don't have a sim lock, your phone is charged and you haven't used it near the time of the restart. There's loads of conditions it checks before it actually restarts

It's certainly doing some sort of restart, because when I start up in the morning, I have to swipe and enter my pass number instead of just using my fingerprint.

That's really strange then, it SHOULD be a normal full restart. Guess since it's such an obscure feature, it's not getting the care and maintenance it needs
