Apps won't show full camera roll

Hello everyone, I've encountered an issue with my new S24. In apps like Discord, Instagram, and Snapchat, they all have full access to my camera roll, but they are only displaying older photos. When I check the "Recent" section, it doesn't show the photos I took yesterday or any new ones. I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this problem! Thank you!

Hello there, is it possible that the issue is a "sorting" issue? if you can choose the sorting by date as such the new ones appear at the top, would that solve the issue?

Hi thank you for your reply I'm not sure if that's the issue or not . How would I go about sorting the pictures by date? On instagram it shows me recents and says the photos were taken today but they're old. It's frustrating I never remember having this problem on my s21

Try the following, after you press the button add + , the first option is Recent, but it has a little downward arrow, click on the arrow and select photos instead, you will get all your photos and albums

If "Recent" doesn't have the little arrow, choose "select multiple" instead

Hi am I gonna have to do this every time and on every app this seems like such a pain even snapchat doesn't show my camera roll and I can't figure out how to access my album through that
