Iphone and android are vastly different. Where all iphones are kinda the same and work the same, android phones are made by different people and all work differently. Apple can easily make updates for their limited number of devices. Google create an update for android, the phone manufacturers the need to modify that update and tweak it to work best. In terms of android 15 on samsung, the delay isn't the android 15 part, the delay is Samsung doing a giant update to the part they do. One ui 7 has a ton of changes and needs a ton of work to be perfect. So technically they could just release android 15 quickly, but the new android version and Samsung stuff will both come together as a single update.

So the delay is samsung adding their own features and systems, the things that make samsung samsung

I just sold my s 24 ultra today for 1350 bucks for a 1 tb im so sick of samsung they are as corrupt as politics this is just stupidity they just want to sell the newest and delay the older devices .... I wish people would stop buying samsung and maybe they will get the point

nice I just sold my s 24 ultra today im officially done with samjunk and picked up a iPhone 16 pro max 1 tb and going to find out how to cancel my samsung account and google account as well im done with android and goggle and samsung for good its all garbage and iPhones have higher resale value and more popular not android junk

iPhones do not run android so they never update it, therefore Samsung's Android updates are infinitely better than Apples.
