Hi, when is OneUi 7 coming to S24 Ultra and other models? Samsung is the last manufacturer to provide users with the Android 15! How will the 7 OS update thing gonna work if this is the case now?
Thanks on the help! S24 Ultra owner.

It was mentioned that it will be in Q1 of 2025 starting from S series (the first ones will be s25 who will ship with one ui 7) there was no official date on when it will roll out on older S series devices rather than Q1.
Latest rumours suggest beta 4 for s24 series will be soon due to s24 series bug on screen color calibration issues to fix it.

Hey @Adi0 !
I'm so excited about One UI 7 and Android 15, just as you are. But as you know, most Android brands are now also working on their UI to make theirs better (for example, Xiaomi works on their HyperOS.). And most brands reached today's standards with their user interfaces. That means there is competition between all companies nowadays. Samsung announced GalaxyAI, and now all companies are trying to make their own AI or trying to make theirs better. In my opinion, having a great UI with exciting features is the thing now. Samsung really works hard on its UI, and you can check beta videos on YouTube. Samsung is known for its premium devices with premium UI experiences, so I'd rather have a great UI with the new Android 15, months later than other companies instead of having a glitchy, buggy version now. Be patient, and we will be happy soon, my friend!

By the time that's released to all devices android 16 will be out and it will be MONTHS after until we see a single iota of it.
The testing process for other manufacturers is far quicker.
@itzrabel can talk about buggy/glitchy so it's better to wait or Samsung could just do better and push beta testing to a better standard and give us the premium we're actually paying for.
Android 16 beta 2 is already being tested yet Samsung hasn't released android 15.
When I pay these kind of prices for a device I expect better and quicker updates not heal dragging for the next device to come out and the mindset that we'll be willing to upgrade device year in year out.
7 years of updates will probably be more like 4 with the update process Samsung currently have...

No, it's not that simple. When you bought a phone for $1500 with its equivalent Chinese models far cheaper, and you're waiting for Android 15 when Android 16 is on its way... I remember Nokia in 2012—it's the same way.
