79 percent not 80?

So, when I enable the battery saver option that stops charging at 80 percent it stops at 79....

Why is this? It's annoying me...

It never moves/reaches to 80%

It should reach 80 percent and stop charging, then when a few percent is dropped it should charge again, but all I see is stop at 79

Sounds like a glitch @Specialist which should remedy itself. 

If it does not then turn off the battery charging saving option ,and charge to 100% ,and then re-enable the feature to see if that helps.

Is it back to 80%? Mine was also stopped at 79% just recently (I set the battery protection level at maximum). It is used to be 80%.

When the phone is off, it charges to 79%; when it's on, it charges to 80%. Why?

I am also facing same problem. But it happens irregularly. Sometime it charge upto 80%

Hello any update on this? Mine is doing the same thing. I think the first time i tried battery protection at 80%  it did reached 80%  at first 2 charging time. But the bext time i tried this it stopped at 79%. Is this normal? My phone is just a month old or so
