12 months free Disney+ with S24 - standard or premium subscription?

@BandOfBrothers  Hi, maybe one for the mods.  Is the free Disney+ that comes with the S24 the standard (SDR HD) or premium (HDR UHD) subscription?

As the phones offer QHD and HDR it would be a shame if its the standard.

Looking at the Samsung Disney+ faqs it looks like the standard subscription.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Be nice if they allowed you to pay the difference for the upgrade to HD, I use Disney+ on my TVs at home so I want that version.

Thought so - that's a real shame. No real interest in sub par 1080p version when have UHD TV and phone.

@Jam13 There may be a way to upgrade to premium. Get the standard, you may as well, and see.

I didn't know if there was an HD or UHD option 🤔. I watch on my 4k TV looks 4K to me.

Standard looks fine to me but I don't know why they don't offer an upgrade as well, they'd make money out of it and 4k and Dolby Atmos would be nice.

That's because these tiers were only introduced in November. Before that, there was only one option.

Yesterday I was on a live chat with Disney+ support and was told if I redeem I the code which is standard HD, I can upgrade to the premium and pay the difference straight away. If that is not the case I will be on to their customer service again but I was told it's possible.

I got till March since I am currently subbed to test that and I did not want HD for a year as I always watch UHD. Will find out in March how true it is.
