Widget animation?

With the new One UI 6.0 update, where is the widget animation gone whenever you return back to home screen? Previously on One UI 5, you would notice an animation when returning to the home screen with gestures. 

The only time you get the animation is when you use button gestures.

A lot of beta testers noticed this (myself included) and we reported it to Samsung, but the final version came out and still has this issue.

I can only assume that this is the way Samsung want it to be and it'll never go back to the nice smooth animation that it once was.

It doesn't make sense though, when we open the widgets we get the smooth animation. Why couldn't they leave it for closing the widget, there was no complaints for widget animations.

My guess is that they broke it and they don't understand the issue that's been reported by the testers. It's a simple thing, but quite hard to describe and covey it in words, especially if there's a translation issue too

That could also happen, just checked Twitter on IceUniverses' account, it seems like widget animation is coming back with an update fix since beta testing for the fold 5 seems to have the widget animation.

All I could say is that the update was rushed in order for Samsung to keep competitive in the game in terms of updates.

That's why it's better in some cases where older devices get the latest update a bit later. Everything is finalised and optimised much better for them plus their current OS isn't giving them problems. If I had known, I wouldn't have updated yet.

I hope you're right. Signs are looking good if it's back in the latest Flip beta.
