Why Ultra S23 1TB isn't available on UK mobile networks

Why is Ultra 23 1TB available on three, EE, Vodafone etc.

It's not available elsewhere like Amazon, Argos etc.

It's only available on Samsung website, I've heard customers are having issues with the order, cancelling, not being in stock, credit being declined with good credit history.

Why aren't UK mobile networks not stocking the 1TB version?

It's really a Samsung.com exclusive. Networks pushing 512GB. Like many who have posted on forum, 1TB orders are delayed and its a nightmare because Samsung keep pushing dates back. The whole preorder has been poorly handled.

Samsung want to push the 512GB variant possibly because they didn't judge the demand for 1TB.

I am one of those customers waiting and left disappointed with Samsung.com.

It's quite poor of Samsung this issue is becoming global, they simply were not ready for the demand of the 1TB.

With removing SD cards and many customers choosing 1TB because its a long term investment.

Exactly ReeceQ.

Been a loyal customer of Samsung from S1, with the removal of sd card slot, like many others I was disappointed.

Finally I accepted it won't make a return back, so want 1TB which will efficient and like you said long term investment.

It was the same two years ago with the S21 ultra. The exclusive in this instance was the 512GB model with 16GB RAM.

This top model actually sold out very quickly and I was happy to have received my preorder of a 512/16 model before they did sell out.

Just a month or two after release the 512 was discontinued... and this was also due supplier issues. On this occasion we were right in the midst of covid... so understandable.

To be completely honest I have had my phone 2 years... and 512GB is easily large enough in a phone. I haven't even got close to using the capacity... despite a lot of photos and media.

I have had a couple of clear offs and archived some items to cloud storage... but just to be tidy... not because I was running out.

I guess if you are doing a lot of 'raw format image processing' then this can use up space... I have noticed the raw format images can be up to 50MP per image with my S21U.

But personally I will have no issues myself in 512... 1TB seems a little.bit of overkill to me

I'm sure the Network's would love to stock the 1Tb version @globalcitizen however it is as said exclusive to buying direct from Samsung.

Samsung makes the decision dependant on market trend and wanting selling rights to a particular storage capacity or exclusive colours brings in sales I assume.

Thanks, had no idea about this. Not sure the method Samsung is using going to generate sales directly on Samsung websites. I for one would have upgraded to 1TB if three network stock it. Currently Samsung is out of stock, not a good start.

It's just a case of misjudged demand. Myself, like many others received their 1TB S23 Ultra on the 7th, with some ordering the day before!

It is unfortunate and dissappinting to have to wait, so I understand the frustration.

Simply that a person seeking out and wanting the 1Tb model will have to order directly through Samsung thus generating pure revenue for Samsung @globalcitizen

Variants will inevitably be out of stock at some point if demand outstrips supply.
