Like most people I was looking forward to UI6, but after finding one glitch after another with things that dont work properly or at all ive came to the conclusion that this was rushed out.

Ive been a satisfied user of Samsung for many moons now but if they are going to treat customers to shoddy and incomplete updates like ui6 ive got a feeling quite a few of us will be returning to I Phones, i know I will

Hey there

Lots of glitches are being reported by some users, others saying their devices are fine (like mine).

Yet we still get so many complaining that One UI6 hasn't yet arrived for their device. Rushed it wasn't lol

Hi, @tam1953. As the One UI 6 Beta Program was very thorough and robust, I can assure that you the update was released in good time and with due consideration given to user feedback.

I do appreciate that, for some people, additional fine-tuning may be required after a software (or, indeed, app) update. What specific issues have you encountered since updating your phone, please?

Hi piperdog ... maybe rushed was the wrong choice of word, I suppose "incomplete" may have been a better definition.
Its obvious looking at the countless gripes by myself and other members that all wasnt as it should be on rollout otherwise we'd have a room full of very happy chappies

Hi Paul, between myself and my wifes phone theres been quite a few strange happenings, ie, phone restarting for no reason, internet coming and going, texting changing from sms to some other format, not to mention some of the custmization features,
Neither of us are I.T. geeks we're just everyday users so long technical fixes will just go zooming right over our heads

Hey there

I agree totally about many users having issues. 🙏

In my case, my internet browser and general device speed felt significantly worse but a wipe partition cache fixed that for me.

I don't get excited about emojis but appreciate user choice here and many don't like them.

I am hoping that Samsung release updates to fix issues that many users are facing, especially on the S21 and S22 Series devices. S23 series appears to be somewhat less impacted thus far 👍

@tam1953 my phone has been fine since the update.

However it's a personal decision on wanting to wait or not.

I hope all goes OK for you.

Thanks @ BandOfBrothers,
I'm a plug and play kind of user, I leave the techy stuff to the experts thats the only reason i feel so let down by the UI6 rollout,
I just got my S23ultra sussed when along came UI6 now all the enjoyment i had has gone,,, i honestly believe something as big as UI6 should have been ''oven ready" before a full release

One UI 6 has been an issue for some users, with one of the recurring issues being that their device keeps restarting or it is stuck on the Samsung logo. I think the best advice I can give to people is not to update to One UI 6 if you have not done so yet. The best thing to do now is wait for a new software/security update in the future, which will hopefully iron out and not have these issues.
