We need to talk about SLock or S Secure for 23X

I wanted to share some feedback regarding the recent One UI 6 update on Samsung 23 models.

I've been a loyal Samsung user for years, and I appreciate the constant improvements and innovations you bring to your devices. However, I noticed that the S Lock or S Secure App Lock feature, which was previously available and very useful for securing personal data, seems to be missing in the latest update.

As someone who values data privacy and security, I find it inconvenient to rely on third-party apps from the Play Store for this essential functionality. It would be highly appreciated if you could consider reintroducing the S Lock or S Secure App Lock feature in the next update of One UI 6.

Having this feature back would not only provide users like me with a more secure experience but also save us the trouble of downloading additional apps and potentially compromising our data privacy.

I believe Samsung's commitment to customer satisfaction and data protection is unparalleled, and I hope you will take this suggestion into account for the betterment of your users' experiences.

The so called Alternative "Secure folder" is completely different from App Lock.

Yes it was a pretty good feature actually, I can't rely on third-party apps, Samsung come on, why can't you guys just make a simple app.

I'd like them to have it as an app that you cannot delete and require a pin to access that app, I've tried alot of 3rd parties but their so easy to bypass after a bit of trying. the next best thing for now is secure folder, but it's not the same

Guys these features are still available, integrated into the sysytem. Search for secure folder and secure WiFi under security and privacy. Applock is secure folder. Hope that helps

Bruv as you can clearly see i told in the article that secure folder is like a paralell space its not an app lock

All those apps supposedly locking apps are a gimmick. Real security is behind Secure folder solution

The version from samsung (ssecure) wasn't a gimmick it was more than that!
