Update

I do not like the new update that has come out, it looks like an Apple phone now and I despise Apple, what was Samsung thinking????? I have to learn how to use my phone again but this time no instructions.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

When you first booted after the update, it should have given you a screen with the changes. Additionally, there is an app called "Tips" to check out.

I personally disagree with the iOS thing and truly believe it's a fad people started. I've used both an iPhone and Samsung—nothing alike.

There are plenty of posts relating to tips, tricks, and changes on the forums!

And feel free to ask on here 😊 Plenty of people are willing to share their experiences.

If you look at what android 16 beta looks like, this isn't samsung becoming ios. This is just the general way android is going

Battery on s25 ultra has been trash since the last update, I have to charge my phone from 15% at around 18:30 every day!
I'm seriously thinking about going back to the pixel fold 9

That's your opinion. If this is the way forward, then this will be the last Samsung I'll own, horrible setup. The battery indicator was fine. Now it's a bubble. How is that easier to read. I'd rather have an option to revert back to how it used to look. This AI thing is getting way out of hand.

Ah! Yes absolutely my opinion, yours is equally as valid!

Sadly all the ai stuff is google- AKA- all Android devices. And the only other option is ios(which also have AI)- which you don't like. Reality is, we dont have a choice. Ai is apart of phones now unless you get an old phone no longer receiving updates. This isnt a samsung problem.

Most changes on ui7 is due to Android 15- again,- google- all Android devices.

We have users in here who also have iPhone and they say that there is little similarity between One UI7 and IoS

You also have one of the most customisable devices ever. You didn't list what your issues are but most can be customised or are you simply here just to moan?

One ui7 looks nothing like an iPhone, I use both s24u is my personal phone and iPhone 16 pro is my business phone, both are different in operation and look.both have good points and both have bad points. people need to get over this "my phone is better than yours attitude" and get on with life after all, it's far too short

I certainly have to disagree with the update looking like apple, android is way more customisable in every way , some things may be similar, but the phone works completely different, try looking at goodlock , it's a Samsung app for Samsung devices, with that you can create an entirely unique look for your handset. There are lots I don't like with the update but that's android evolving, enjoy your phone and play with the settings.
