UI 6.1 Update Wrecking My S23 Ultra

Folks, I'm majorly disappointed. The UI 6.1 update has turned my S23 Ultra into a battery-sucking, laggy mess. My favorite game now drains the battery in minutes when it used to last for hours. Even scrolling through apps is choppy now!

This update sucks the joy out of using my phone. Anyone else seeing this? Any fixes??

What have you tried to do to remedy the issue.
Quite often Wiping the Partition Cashe on phone helps to resolve some issues. Personally I think it's worth doing after updating software anyway. But not necessary.
Sometimes after a large major software update, the phone can go through the battery conditioning process again. This can make the battery inconsistent for a few days or so

No obvious issues here on my S23 Ultra.

As you've downloaded a major OS update, I would definitely recommend a Wipe Partition Cache as @Glenntech has suggested.

This should ideally be done after all major OS updates and (depending on your preferences), periodically after monthly security updates. I do both of my devices every 3 months or so.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer USBC to USBC (you may also connect to another Samsung mobile via USBC). Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Is everyone ignoring the fact there is no back button..... the always on screen clock is a disgusting orange it takes forever to get to task manager.

Ok AOD can be edited 🤓

Can't use with one hand.....

Not affected thanks to Goodlock and NavStar and aod clock can be changed on regular lock screen. That will also be soon fixed with lockstar
