Switching to Iphone - Is there anything I should know?

As a near long-time Samsung user, I've always been impressed by their innovations. However, recent design choices like the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have been disappointing. Combined with a perceived lack of innovation in the Android space compared to previous years, I've decided that I'll  switch to iPhone in September .The iOS 18 update at WWDC was the final push.

While I'm excited about the change, I'm also a bit nervous. I haven't ever used an iPhone but I did for a short period of time have an iPad mini 4, so I'm curious about what's changed. Any tips or advice for a returning Apple user would be greatly appreciated. And is there anything that I should know?

I probably will tbh, it's the keyboard that I dislike the most on iphone, but I already own an apple tv because I hate the Samsung TV OS, it has so many ads

You will not have as much freedom with an iPhone. Restricted by many angles, I used an iPhone once and for the last time in my life. Just my opinion, but if I am spending my hard-earned money on a device that costs a lot, then please give me freedom on my phone. I don't want to explain what my personal issues are against iPhones because my messages are going to be very long. 🤣
Lots of things on the iPhone simply don't make sense, and we are talking about smartphones. Sorry. Good luck.
