superfast charging problem after update no solution works

hello. i have 2 Samsung original 25w chargers.one came with my note 10 plus.one with a72.

both of the charger have stopped showing superfast on my s23 after update.it only shows fast charging .I have gone through all the solutions including wiping the cache partition to no avail. so I decided to post here and ask for help.

it also has this problem on a 34 and a54 of my friends but shows superfast on the old s21.

what is Samsung ding here? please help.

@davidpaterson: After connecting to your charger, please can you try heading to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery, then check the status bar at the top of the screen. Does it reference the Super fast charger connection here?

hello AndrewL and thanks for helping.

no it shows green circle at first and in the menu it shows fast charging. some of my friends have this problem too, they hadn't noticed until  i asked them to test my charger on their phones.

it seems to be a change in the new oneui OSes  and newer phones that has resulted in this problem ,we didn't have this problem before. some older phones like s21 don't show this problem when we tested them. i believe the charge time is not really different from before but the wording is wrong.it must write super charging not fast. do you think it would be useful to measure the speed with a wattmeter and report back to you? may be that can help you in finding the core of the problem?

doesn't work. I have already done the suggested solutions like soft or hard reset, wiping cache partition.it is not just phone either please read my post . it seems to be OS problem.

Have you timed it does it take longer to charge? I know on my device it doesn't say super fast when it's charging, but does so only briefly when 1st plugged in. I tried with 25w and 45w maybe the older chargers behave diff 🤔

Oh btw I thought I was on the beta forum, you could try joining that to see if new android 14 version works 💡

Mine writes fast charge and green circle.

Thanks for the help.i hope samsung fixes this problem.i prefer not to use beta because I had some bad experience before.
