Superfast charging not working after update

Since I did a recent update, my samsung s23 is no longer doing superfast charging. It is simply doing a slow charge. The wording superfast charging comes on when I initially plug in but within a second it changes to the word charging. 

Is the update a bug?

Since the update to Android 13, the wording changed to just how you described, so don't worry it's quite normal. To check this, plug into charger, goto setting>Device Care> Battery. You should see the words " Super fast charger connected"

I would as also recommend wiping cache partition after any update. See link for instructions

Its was a cosmetic change as @Robin999 said this is normal behaviour

I have 65W charger and SFC 2.0 not working because requirement is unusual charger 9V/5A with 5A cable!

I have the exact same issue since the update its takes like 3 hours to charge my s23 ultra whereas it only took like 40 minutes on super fast charge but now it won't do it

I'm facing the same problem. Did you figure out how to fix it?

After the recent update the superfast charging is no longer working on my phone (S23 Ultra). The fast charging option is enabled on battery settings and I already cleaned the cache that some forums are suggesting, no success. I'm using Samsung cable and charger (45w) that came together with the phone. I tested the cable and charger on another phone (S22 Ultra) and there the superfast charging is working well.

Same problem here. After update my 45w samsung charger charging slowly.  Hope they will fix this "issue" 😞
