Hi All so since I've updated to 6.1 whenever I get a text message the icon that shows is just a head in a sim card shape where it was always a speech bubble anyone know how to change this? Thanks

I'm not sure. I need to wait for their response as I can't respond again until they respond. Please send feedback too. If more people complaint, then there is a chance thye will fix/correct this.

Initially, they said it is correct and that this is normal. I pushed back as my wife's S24 is getting the correct icon. They asked me to share another error report and they are now investigating this.

Hopefully an update is imminent but I don't hold my breath it's fixed

I do not think it will be in this month's update as this fix is late. Probably will be in next month update.

As expected new update did not resolve the problem. Will feed this back to the support.

There's is no solutions to change the Icons for the status bar but make sure to turn on show app icon in notifications, it's somehow better when you toggle down to see the notifications

This is issue with Samsung Messenger app as all was fine before UI 6.1 update. On S24 with UI 6.1 icons are displayed correctly. With Google Messenger app also.

Hi, i have same problem. But a little bit different.

I think it has nothing to do with One Ui updates. Its related to samsung message app updates itself.

Because i experiencing this with One Ui 6.0!

It's clearly a problem, samsung message app sim icons should be synchronized with entire phone ecosystem (settings > connections > SIM manager > select sim > icone).

Also just for more information, my phone is A54 5G with 2 physical sim, and i have that Briefcase icon only for my sim2 messages, not sim1.
