@megoodcat: Virgin Media email accounts must be added to Android devices in POP3 or IMAP format. With this in mind, please head to Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Add account > Choose either Personal (POP3) or Personal (IMAP).
IMAP will allow any changes you make to the account on your Galaxy S23 to be reflected at the server side, while POP3 will not. For example, if you choose IMAP, and delete an email, then it will be deleted from the server, while a POP3 account will only delete the email from your S23, but not from the server. I hope this helps.

You'll also need to set up a app password through virgin account I believe to be able to use virgin email on 3rd party email apps. See link above for further info 🙂
