When I take a screenshot it brings up a small menu at the bottom but I've noticed that menu dissapears way too quick so I don't get time to crop my screenshot to send it or alter it in anyway.
Is there a way of keeping that small sub menu once taken a screenshot on for longer? 
It just dissapears too quick.

It's at the bottom . You kinda get used to it after a while.
I take the screen shot with volume down + power button and gives me enough time to crop it.

Alternatively you have to go to your gallery and crop it form there.

Unfortunately as far as I'm aware you cannot extend the time it shows so be ready to tap on what you want to do pretty swiftly @Christo19862010

You can make adjustments when it goes to gallery in your phone, then send it if that's what your wanting to do.
