Every since I got my Samsung S23 a few years ago I've had a problem with saving new contacts on my phone which then does not show up on my contact list under Contacts. Initially I only saved new contacts on my phone but as this problem has been ongoing since start I now save them on 4 different places just to be sure! I save on the SIM card, on my phone, Google account and Samsung account. After I have pressed "save" I go back to Contacts to check if the new contact is showing on the list which it does not. I then use the search function to look for the said contact but I get "no results" . If I try to save the contact again, the phone will then indicate that contact already exists and ask me the question if I would I like to update the contact. So clearly the contact exists somewhere but does not show up on my contact list or on any searches.
The settings on my phone under Contacts are put on "all contacts" but even if I opt to choose only one, for example SIM card contacts, the contact list or search results will still not show or find anything. My contacts are also synced to both my Google and Samsung account.
This is really driving me crazy as it has been going on for years now! I have searched every forum and looked at a million you tube videos for a possible solution but nothing is fixing it. Could it be something as simple as rebooting the phone after I save a new contact? I just can't figure this out!
