Save Samsung Messaging from Google trash

Please everyone try to get Samsung to save Samsung messages and using RCS, it seems as part of the agreement with Google to use Android that Samsung are forfeiting some apps and programs which they have that Google have too but the difference of Samsung Messaging to Google is like going back to using a Galaxy S8. Can't perso alive with pictures the chat room and it just feels like and makes me want to vomit. Google Messaging is awful and please save Samsung Messaging with RCS support.

I love Samsung messages as well.

I wouldn't mind google messages as along as Samsung skinned it with their UI.
I hate the google UI ( find it kiddish) and don't like the google messages icon.

Personally I don't get excited about these things.

It is a messaging app. I use it to message people. As long as it does what I need to do, that's fine by me.

I don't use RCS though. Find it unreliable. If the other person doesn't have RCS, they don't appear to get the message until they do. If they reply, I have you have RCS turned on. Again if I don't.....

Just don't like RCS and refuse to use it now. If I'm sending an SMS it goes as an SMS.

Android is open source so they don't need an agreement to use it. They need a license to use Google Mobile Services (GMS): which they have to pay for. It's not Google pushing Google messages, it seems that Samsung are trying to push users to use Google messages. Presumably they'll cease supporting it in the future.

I totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint on this situation. 👍

My preference is the Samsung option too. 

I understandfor  some change is hard and are comfortable with the current messaging app they use.

We'll have to see what happens in the near future and if this change does happen then we'll have to adjust to what is then available.

You guys are funny. Do you know what they call Google Messages? Samsung Google Messages because it looks more and more like Samsung Messages 😂
