Samsung won't let me use generative AI because it thinks I'm a minor?

I've recently updated my phone to one UI 6.1 and when I've gone to test the generative AI wallpaper it says "Minors are not allowed to use this service".

I have my correct DOB and I'm able to do ANYTHING else, Samsung won't restrict me from listening to music that's explicit or anything else that you'd expect a company to do to protect actual minors. And also, I am an adult, and I don't know how I prove that I am. Either way it's pretty ridiculous that you can be discriminated against what features you can use based on your age, after all, none of the presets for wallpapers are exactly explicit or inappropriate. 

Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? And does anyone have any solutions?

Hey there

In your Samsung Account, do you have the correct date of birth and if so (and please don't answer this next bit publicly) are you 18 or over?

From previous posts this has been an issue elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm 24, turning 25 soon. Got the correct DOB in my account. It just doesn't make any sense how they would know even if I weren't over 18. They don't have any legal rights to use the camera to assume age etc or access to personal info aside from what i choose they can have surely 🤔

This is the second post today about the same issue effecting members not being able to use the AI wallpapers etc maybe Samsung needs to update the Wallpaper features in they software or apps

yea ive experienced this too, i am a minor although my DOB on my samsung acc says otherwise.

It just doesn't make sense that they know that, surely it invades on your privacy as a minor especially for a company as big and influential as samsung to know something like that about you if you have told them otherwise.
