Samsung Galaxy S23 Lagging

Hi, I just got a S23 a few days ago, the first few days were fine. now I have noticed apps and the browser can sometimes go very slow at loading. for example loading new content or playing videos on my Instagram feed, loading a webpage on the browser could be quick one minute the the next can take up to 30 seconds to load the same page.

I have been going into the Battery and device care menu and optimising it which does help but then an hour or so later it will lag again.

Anyone else had this?

@DanHemingway  obviously @Aklima  meant cache.  clearing the cache partition can help with lagging/freezes and is recommend after updates.  This deletes temporary files but your Data is intact. Follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

You can also Repair apps via the Recovery Menu.
