I can appreciate how frustrating it is waiting for an update. Security patches are especially important.
If you haven't already please try Samsung SmartSwitch via a Computer.
Occasionally inserting a completely different networks sim card can instigate an update.
If you have a Samsung Experience Store local to your then the service desk inside maybe able to help.
