I have a ultra 23 my first one I turn into insurance because it got to the point that it would not charge with Samsung cable, my new phone that I have had for a while is starting to act up again with the original charger I have to plug it in 4 or 5 times before it starts charging, I've tried new cables from amazon for Samsung but they never work but they work with other Samsung devices

My S23 ultra is also saying moisture detected and refusing to charge. I have tried blowing it but all to no avail. What is worrying me is that it's a r placement handset after the previous one developed the same problem. I am wondering whether it's now a global problem with S23 Ultra handsets that may call for recall of the phones as maintenance is not working.

I am also facing the same problem with my S23 Ultra which says moisture detected refusing to charge. What worries me is the fact that this gadget was a replacement after the previous had developed the same problem with charging port. Now I am now sure whether this issue has become a global issue calling for recall of the handsets as maintenance has failed.

Also struggling a lot, the behavior is intermittent, and currently fast charging is not working anymore.

Yes! I believe Samsung has a faulty design. I have only been able to charge my phone wirelessly for weeks. Samsung should recall these or provide service to fix them.

Yep Same problem. Samsung, please provide support. I've been been buying your phones since the Note 5 and have always been impressed by the functionality and reliability. But now this is practically a $1200 piece of junk. Please help.

Hi everyone,
I have been facing the same problem since July 2023. Samsung S23. Phone was bought in Feb 2023 as a pre-order and Samsung charger and cable was used since the day of buying it. I had the issue with the massage about debris and moisture in July 2023. The message disappear after few days but USB charging error was present. After 3 months around Feb 2024 suddenly charging had started to work again. Everything was okay until the July 2024 when the problem occurred again. Since than my phone is charged only via wireless.
I tried everything to resolve the problem: cleaning, USB port cache, safe mode, update of the new version of the software, but nothing work. Interestingly, yesterday happened that I somehow plug the USB cable and charging start working, but than I have updating the software and charging stopped working again. This recent issue makes me search again thorough the internet and checking the update on that issue seems like more and more customers having the same unreasonable problem. This issue is present on a many Samsung 23 devices and it seems solution doesn't exist. Really don't know what will be solution.

Same thing. Last week I randomly decided to plug mine in and it was working. Then a couple of days ago I took an update. Now it's back to not working.

Yup, same here. 3 days ago it stopped fast charging. It will normal charge, and wireless charge. Occasionally if I turn it off, and then back on the fast charging will kick on. It's pretty annoying.
